You hand us drafts, details about your business and answers about your own work. This page says what we keep, how long we keep it, who else sees it, and how to have it deleted. The legal terms are in our Privacy Policy.

What we keep

Your account

  • Your name, email address and plan.
  • Payments go through Lemon Squeezy or Stripe. Your card details go to them and never reach us.

AI Content Creator

  • The subject you type, the choices you make in each step, the outline, the sources we found and the finished article, including the versions you edit.
  • Your answers to the founder questions. When an answer adds something new about your business, we also save it to your brand so later articles can use it.

My Brand

  • Everything you enter: your business description, how you sound, who you write for, the facts about your business, writing samples you paste in, and the author name and bio.
  • The list of pages on your website, which we read to learn your voice and to link to your own pages. We read it again when it is more than 7 days old.

AI Visibility Readiness Report

  • The web address you check, the score and the full report.

AI Humanizer

  • When you are signed in, the text you paste and the result, so you can find them again in your History. You can delete any of them from there.
  • When you are not signed in, we do not save your text.

Images you add

  • Images you upload to an article or to your brand are stored at a long random web address. It is not listed anywhere, but anyone who has the address can open the image.

What we do not keep

  • Text you check in the AI Detector or the Grammar Checker. We do not save that text.
  • The Plagiarism Checker keeps only sentences that matched a web page, for 30 days, so the same check runs faster next time.
  • Files you upload to bring text in. We read the text out of them and delete the file.

How long we keep it

Everything above stays in your account until you delete it. We do not clear it on a schedule, so your past articles and your brand are there when you come back.

When you delete an article, a brand or a report in the app, it is gone from your account. To have your data wiped from our systems as well, see the next section.

Deleting your data

Write to hello@humanizeai.com from the email address on your account and ask us to delete your data. We delete your articles, brand, founder answers, reports, images and account within 30 days, and remove you from our email list. We keep only what the law requires us to keep, such as payment records.

Who else sees your content

We use a small number of services to run HumanizeAI. Each one gets only what it needs for its part of the work.

  • OpenAI writes and checks your content. It receives your text, your brand details and pages from your website.
  • Google powers some writing features in the editor, and its search tools measure the page speed of the address you check in the report.
  • Search and research services (SerpApi, Paperguide, Crossref and Keywords Everywhere) receive search words, such as your subject and your section headings, to find sources and keywords. The Plagiarism Checker sends short pieces of each sentence as searches.
  • FastDetect receives the text you check in the AI Detector.
  • A grammar checking server receives the text you check in the Grammar Checker.
  • Our hosting and database providers store our database and your images and run our servers.
  • Brevo sends our emails, such as your report. It has your name, email and plan, and the reports we email you.
  • PostHog and Google Analytics show us which pages and features get used. Intercom runs our support chat.

Training AI on your content

We do not use your content to train AI models. OpenAI and Google do not train their models on content sent to them by businesses like ours.

How we protect it

  • Your browser talks to HumanizeAI over an encrypted connection.
  • Our database provider encrypts the data it stores.
  • Every request is checked so that you only see your own articles, brands and reports.
