1. Purpose and Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs all use of HumanizeAI.com and its associated tools, APIs, and services (“the Platform”), operated by Paloma Digital LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”).

HumanizeAI is a professional writing assistance platform built for content marketers, freelance writers, agency owners, SEO professionals, business communicators, and other professional content creators. Our tools help users produce writing that is natural, engaging, and authentically voiced.

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by this AUP in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. This policy exists to protect users, third parties, and the integrity of the Platform.

2. Who HumanizeAI Is Built For

The Platform is designed to serve professional and commercial content creation needs. Intended users include:

Content marketers and SEO professionals

  • Creating blog content, landing pages, and web copy for businesses
  • Producing high-volume content that reads naturally and engages audiences
  • Improving AI-assisted drafts for brand voice consistency

Freelance writers and ghostwriters

  • Refining AI-assisted drafts for client deliverables
  • Maintaining consistent voice across long-form projects
  • Producing natural, readable content at scale

Agency owners and content teams

  • Managing content production across multiple clients
  • Maintaining quality and consistency across writers and projects
  • Accelerating content workflows without sacrificing authenticity

Business owners and entrepreneurs

  • Creating marketing materials, email campaigns, and website content
  • Communicating expertise and ideas in a natural, engaging voice
  • Producing professional content without a dedicated writing team

Non-native English speakers

  • Improving fluency, clarity, and readability of professional communications

3. Permitted Uses

The following uses of the Platform are explicitly permitted and encouraged:

  • Social media content, scripts, and brand communications
  • Business reports, internal communications, and professional documentation
  • SEO-optimized content and search-focused writing

Editorial improvement

  • Improving the readability and flow of AI-assisted drafts
  • Refining tone, structure, and engagement of written content
  • Transforming rough notes or transcripts into polished articles
  • Adapting content for different audiences, channels, or formats

Language and accessibility

  • Improving fluency for non-native English speakers in professional contexts
  • Making technical content more accessible to general audiences
  • Adapting content for readability across different literacy levels

4. Prohibited Uses

The following uses of the Platform are strictly prohibited. Violations of this section constitute grounds for immediate account termination without refund.

4.1 Academic Dishonesty and Institutional Fraud

HumanizeAI may not be used to:

  • Submit AI-assisted or AI-generated content as original work in any academic context where AI use is explicitly prohibited by the institution, instructor, or examination body
  • Circumvent AI detection systems operated by educational institutions, including but not limited to Turnitin, GPTZero, or similar academic integrity tools, where such circumvention violates institutional policy
  • Complete assignments, examinations, dissertations, theses, or academic assessments on behalf of a student in violation of the relevant institution's academic integrity policy
  • Assist any third party in committing academic fraud or violating academic integrity standards

4.2 Deception and Misrepresentation

HumanizeAI may not be used to:

  • Misrepresent the authorship of content in contexts where authorship carries legal, professional, or fiduciary responsibility
  • Impersonate real individuals, organizations, or entities in communications, publications, or submissions
  • Fabricate quotes, testimonials, endorsements, or statements attributed to real people
  • Produce content designed to deceive readers about material facts, including product claims, credentials, or expertise
  • Create fake reviews, manufactured social proof, or fraudulent user-generated content

4.3 Misinformation and Harmful Content

HumanizeAI may not be used to:

  • Produce or distribute knowingly false or misleading information intended to deceive audiences
  • Create health, medical, financial, or legal misinformation that could cause harm to individuals
  • Generate content that promotes violence, harassment, discrimination, or hatred toward any individual or group
  • Produce content that violates applicable laws in the user's jurisdiction or the jurisdictions where content is published

4.4 Intellectual Property Violations

HumanizeAI may not be used to:

  • Reproduce, rewrite, or distribute copyrighted material without authorization from the rights holder
  • Circumvent copyright protections or intellectual property rights through paraphrasing or rewriting
  • Plagiarize the work of others by submitting rewritten content as original where originality is required

4.5 Platform Misuse

HumanizeAI may not be used to:

  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract the underlying models, algorithms, or proprietary systems of the Platform
  • Use the Platform's API or tools to build competing products or services without explicit written authorization
  • Automate requests in volumes that degrade Platform performance or violate rate limits
  • Circumvent account limits, usage caps, or subscription restrictions through technical means

5. Our Position on AI Detection and Natural Writing

HumanizeAI is built to help users produce writing that sounds natural, authentic, and human-voiced. Our tools improve readability, flow, and engagement, the qualities that make writing effective for any professional purpose.

We acknowledge that content refined with our tools is less likely to be flagged by AI detection systems. We believe this is legitimate for professional and commercial content creation, where the standard has always been quality and accuracy, not disclosure of the tools used to produce it.

However, we draw a clear and firm line: where an institution, regulator, platform, or employer explicitly requires disclosure of AI use or prohibits AI assistance, our tools must not be used to circumvent that requirement. The distinction between professional content creation and institutional fraud is clear, and this policy enforces it.

Users are solely responsible for understanding and complying with the policies of any institution, employer, publisher, or platform to which they submit content produced using our tools.

6. Enforcement

We reserve the right to investigate any suspected violation of this AUP. Upon finding a violation, we may take any of the following actions at our sole discretion:

  • Issue a warning to the account holder
  • Temporarily suspend access to the Platform
  • Permanently terminate the account without refund
  • Report violations to relevant authorities where required by law
  • Cooperate with institutional investigations where legally required

We do not actively monitor the content users create on the Platform. Enforcement is triggered by reports, pattern detection, or our own observation of clear policy violations. Reporting a suspected violation does not guarantee action.

7. User Responsibility

You, the user, are solely responsible for:

  • Understanding the policies of any institution, employer, publisher, or platform to which you submit content
  • Ensuring your use of HumanizeAI complies with applicable laws in your jurisdiction
  • Reviewing, editing, and taking ownership of all content produced using the Platform before publication or submission
  • Ensuring the accuracy, truthfulness, and appropriateness of content you publish under your name or your organization's name

HumanizeAI provides tools. You make the decisions. Accountability for published content remains with the individual or organization that publishes it, not with us.

8. Relationship to Other Policies

This Acceptable Use Policy should be read alongside:

In the event of any conflict between this AUP and the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service shall govern.

9. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update this Acceptable Use Policy at any time. Changes will be posted at humanizeai.com/acceptable-use with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Platform following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

Material changes that affect user rights or obligations will be communicated via email to account holders where practicable.
